Signspeed is committed to full compliance with all relevant and other legal requirements. We hold full CHAS Certification. Additionally we hold SMAS, and are registered with Construction Line. Copies of Certificates are available on request.
Environmental and Sustainability Initiatives
CIRCULAR ECONOMY:
We aim at a regenerative organisation and focus on life-cycle thinking: we optimise equipment and resources and use them in productive systems for as long as possible. These resources include raw materials, manufactured products, design, energy and renewables.
Keeping resources circulating in the economy for longer satisfies the demand for better, longer-lasting products, and also saves our customers money. By selecting products for maximum life we reduce waste and support our customers’ environmental initiatives.
Our workshops are powered by solar panels and we re-purpose packaging, offcuts and wood by upcycling. We have multiple recycling boxes for effective waste management.
Our workshops and surrounding grounds provide valuable habitat for wildlife, in addition to bats, there are colonies of wild bees in the ash trees. We are visited by over 30 native bird species, the workshop walls support elusive native lizards and solitary bees (which are in decline). Our grounds support toads and newts and many species of, now rare, wild flower.
