The new multimillion pound Emergency and Urgent Care Unit at Withybush Hospital has state-of-the-art credentials, in more ways than one!
Stunning large format images produced by wriggly-tin using Pembrokeshire photographer Moyrah Gall’s images now grace the walls of Wales’ most modern and pioneering care unit.
This latest installation enhances the public, treatment and staff areas – and aims to engage adults and children alike. Wriggly-tin worked with facilitators Arts Care Gofal Celf (ACGC), to highlight Moyrah’s talents behind the lens.
Wriggly-tin printed and hand-finished several stunning large format clinically-compliant acrylic and aluminium displays. The Signspeed team then took over and completed the installation in record time.
The finished artworks enhance the ethos and ‘feel’ of this impressive new building. Children will love the Manor House Meerkat montage installed in the specialist Child Treatment Room.
The project has been made possible thanks to £6,500 of funding from the hospital’s WRVS, a tireless team of volunteers, who run the two tea bars and the Welcome Service. Arts Care Gofal Celf (ACGC). ACGC has a long track record in facilitating art in places where people live, work and meet. Director Chris Ryan said, “We were pleased to recommend Moyrah Gall and wriggly-tin.com for this project.”
